LAPLACE, LA – Jakai’lyn Russell posted a video on social media wielding a handgun and threatening to shoot Sheriff Tregre and law enforcement officers.
Louisiana State Police joined the investigation, which led to Russell turning himself into the sheriff’s office.
The Sheriff’s office arrested Russel on Thursday, Jan.26.
He is charged with threatening a public official and is temporarily held at the Sherman Walker Correctional Facility, awaiting transfer to another one.
