MONROE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Health reported Thursday 5,318 new COVID-19 cases and 58 new deaths. Confirmed cases stand at 320,462 and 7,631 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March.
The health department reported 1,975 patients in the hospital being treated for COVID-19 and 245 were on ventilators.
