WEST MONROE, LA- The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s office got a call to the 1000 block of Avant Road for a domestic disturbance with a knife.

When the police arrived, the victim said that their 34-year-old son, Christopher Daniel Lee, attacked them with a knife.

Reportedly, the victim said that Lee was intoxicated that day. They were woken up by Lee telling them the house is on fire. Panicked, the victim found out that the thermostat was on fire, which they believed Lee ignited it with a lighter.

When they put out the fire, Lee walked into the victim’s room with a knife in his hands saying- “I’m going to kill you” and tried to cut the victim’s arm. They managed to escape from Lee, but allegedly he hurt the victim by hitting his wrist in the doorway.

Then, Lee slammed the victim on the floor. Luckily, they were able to escape from the residence on time.

When the Police arrived, they read him his Miranda Rights, to which Lee denied giving a statement of the incident.

Lee was then arrested and booked into Ouachita Correctional Center, where he was charged with Domestic Abuse Battery and Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault.
