MONROE, LA— The City of Monroe made an announcement that part of Lee Avenue will be temporarily closed due to the installment of a new sewer main and road repairment.
The road will be closed from Sunday, Jan.30 at noon to south bound traffic, and will remain closed until announced otherwise.
This is the list of detours the city has provided for those in need to travel through this area:
- Detours for closure of South bound traffic of Lee Ave will detour @ Mouton St.
- Detours for closure of West bound Traffic of Standifer will detour @ South Grand.
- Detours for closure of East bound traffic of Standifer will detour @ Dick Taylor.
- Detours for closure of North bound traffic will detour @ Benton.
The officials are reminding residents to drive carefully around the area and are appreciating the patience.
