MONROE, La. – According to the police officials, the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday, May 21.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Haynie Avenue.
Bastrop Police Department officers arrested and charged a 16-year-old with negligent homicide.
The officials have reported that one person produced a firearm and fired it during a fight.
A bystander was shot and was treated for injuries.
This incident is under investigation.
