MONROE, La. – The city of Monroe has a new director of parks.
The city introduced Monroe native Ray Wright as the new director of parks. Wrights says he’s excited to serve the role which he says will improve the quality of life for Monroe citizens.
“I’m excited to serve in this role which will provide community services and improve the quality of life for the people in the city of Monroe. It’s an honor to be apart of the new leadership, Mayor Ellis has created a brilliant team that is going to build #ONEROE!”
Wright says he grew up in the area and has a deep and abiding love for the city.
“I am thrilled to join the new administration in Monroe. I grew up here, and have a connection, and a deep and abiding love for the City. I am honored to be part of the new and exciting direction of the City of Monroe moving forward.”
