MONROE, La. – It’s been 12 days since Louisiana Tech and ULM opened up the 2021 softball season on a bitterly cold night at the Ouachita Sports Complex.
Louisiana Tech defeated the Warhawks 3-2 that night and both teams played other opponents the following day in the Best of the Bayou Classic.
Neither has played since.
Thanks to Mother Nature, both the Lady Techsters (1-1) and the Warhawks (1-1) have seen the majority of their early season scheduled wiped out.
However, Tech and ULM are set to resume action Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. when the Lady Techsters travel I-20 to square off in round two with the Warhawks at Geo-Surfaces Field.
