LDH: Almost 60 percent of COVID-19 deaths in Louisiana are Caucasian

LOUISIANA – There has been an increase of 19 deaths in the state since Monday.

There are 770 new coronavirus cases in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The Louisiana Department of Health also reported that there have been 9,647 deaths total in the state from the novel coronavirus.

There are now 370,797 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

There are now 629 COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

There are now 89 COVID-19 patients on ventilators in the state.

As of February 22, 408,463 people are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.
