BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) reported Friday 523 new COVID-19 cases and 9 new deaths. Confirmed cases stand at 384,613 and 9,392 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
The health department also reported 317 patients were in hospital being treated for COVID-19 and 42 were on ventilators.
