BATON ROUGE, La. – According to the statement, his name is Alex Scott and he was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado around 2:35 a.m. when he hit a tree on Oak Villa Boulevard.
Unfortunately, he died as a result of his injuries.
The detectives are investigating the tragic crash.

The Friday morning crash that killed Scott was the second deadly traffic incident to happen on Oak Villa Boulevard within a 24-hour time frame.
