Monroe, LA – According to the police officials, the crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. on June 7, 2021.
A three-vehicle crash occurred on LA Hwy 139 just south of LA Hwy 134.
A truck driven by Jorge Rodriguez-Zuniga was northbound on LA Hwy 139 when it crossed the center line and hit a motorcyclist.
Thomas Deaton Jr. of Danielsville was identified as the deceased victim.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jorge Rodriguez-Zuniga was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center on a charge of vehicular homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
