LOUISIANA – The 25-year-old woman, Amberneisha Alexus Leonard, of Shreveport, was found guilty of attempted aggravated assault with a firearm, prosecutors said

Leonard was an employee at the Ellerbe Rd. Kroger Marketplace when the incident occurred.

The woman was suspended for violations of company policy on Jan. 5.

Prosecutors said Leonard had an argument with the manager.

She then left her workplace and returned later with a firearm.

She reportedly didn’t point the weapon at the manager, only pulled it from her pocket where it could be seen.

She faces up to five years in prison and is due back in court for sentencing on Jan. 3, 2022.
