MONROE, La. – Authorities have arrested a man accused of second degree murder and attempted second degree murder in Monroe.
According to the Monroe Police Department, 18-year-old Patrell Walker was wanted for a shooting that happened on Jan. 4, 2021, on Jason Drive that left one person dead, and another injured.
Detectives say they received word that led them to the location of Walker. They say he was taken into custody and later booked on the charges of 2nd degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder, and aggravated assault.
