Monroe police needs help finding missing teenager

MONROE, La. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a missing teenager.

The Monroe Police Department is looking for Janae Woodside, 16.

They say she left the Department of Children & Family Services office on April 7, 2021. MPD says Janae left without permission while awaiting placement into a foster home.

They say she was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black t-shirt, a tan hooded sweatshirt, a pink hair bonnet, and green slippers. She had black braids and blonde highlights.

MPD says she also uses the name Journey Rogers.
