MPD arrested a man after the manager of a local restaurant said he threatening to shoot up the business

MONROE, La. – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred on May 22, 2021.

The 31-year-old man was asked repeatedly to leave the restaurant but refused.

Donte Cornell Williams told the manager that she didn’t know who he was and advised her that he would come back and shoot up the restaurant.

The suspect then walked outside and continued screaming at customers going into the restaurant and making pistol signs at employees through the window.

The suspect was taken into custody after a short struggle and he was charged with disturbing the peace, entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden, terrorizing, and resisting an officer.
