Murder suspect wanted by Monroe police

MONROE, La. – Police have released the identity of a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting.

The Monroe Police Department says they are looking for 18-year-old Patrell Walker. They have a warrant for his arrest on charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder stemming from a Jan. 4 shooting on Jason Drive. Police say he is 5′7″ and weighs 155 lbs.

Police say 23-year-old Samarius Colquitt was killed. The other victim was airlifted to a regional hospital.
