One suspect in custody, MPD still searching for 19-year-old

MONROE, La. – Authorities say they have arrest warrants for two suspects that they believe are connected to a shooting that happened on April 4, 2021, at a bar in Monroe.

According to the Monroe Police Department, six people were shot on Easter Sunday at Bobo’s Bar in Monroe.

MPD says they are looking for 43-year-old Philick Lyons and 19-year-old Kilarrious Owens. They say Lyons has a warrant for Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Domestic Abuse Battery. Owens has a warrant for Illegal use of Dangerous Instrumentalities, Illegal Carry of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm on Premises of Alcoholic Beverage.
