Monroe, LA – According to the police officials, her name is Shakeisha Renee Franklin and she was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center.
Deputies responded to a home disturbance call on Trichel Lane.
The victim told the deputies that his 23-year-old wife stabbed him in the forehead area with a kitchen knife during a fight.
He them disarmed her and called the police.
They’ve been married for a year and the suspect’s two-year-old son was inside the house during the fight.
The 23-year-old woman allegedly admitted that she lunged at her husband with the knife, striking him in the forehead.
