Monroe, LA – According to the statement, deputies received reports the suspect had poured cigarette butts and ashes on the victim’s head.
Authorities say that the deputies observed ashes and cigarette butts in the female victim’s hair.
The 30-year-old suspect allegedly yelled and screamed at deputies, when they tried to make contact.
Her name is Amber Donaldson Basey and she was arrested.
She did not deny placing the cigarette butts and ashes in the victim’s hair but claimed it happened accidentally.
She was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center.
