Monroe, LA – According to the statement, the new firefighters completed a 22 week program that began in February.
The training included lectures, assignments, hands-on and hazardous material training, firefighting and emergency medical response training.
Chief Terry Williams announced at the end of the ceremony that despite the new faces, MFD is still looking for an additional 15 firefighters.
