Monroe, LA – According to the officials, more than 600 runners and walkers gathered at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
The run is to honor veterans and active service members, and remember those who lost their lives.
To remember why the holiday is so important, participants passed through the Flags of Freedom for the last stretch.
The museum will be open Monday, May 31 for anyone to visit and observe the holiday.
