WEST MONROE, LA — On Feb. 17th, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s office deputies responded to an overdose call in a public restroom. When they arrived, they found the 31-year-old Gary Alexander Wyles Jr. nearly unconscious and with a syringe up in his sleeve.
Further investigation revealed a white plastic container with 15 Clonazepam pills and a bag with narcotics residue on the edge of a toilet seat.
They also found a black nylon bag with a metal spoon, empty syringe and a knife inside his pants, also covered with narcotic residue.
Wyles was taken to a medical center where he was treated for the overdose, and then was arrested and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
