MONROE, LA— On Thursday, Jan. 27, the officers received a call for a disturbance in the 50 block of Roy Drive. When they arrived on the scene, they noticed that the victim is hurt and is bleeding from his head.

Reportedly, the victim and his girlfriend Lateisha Renee Henderson,32, had an argument, when Henderson attacked the victim with a knife and stabbed him in his head.

She was later located at a local Burger King on the 5100 block of Forsythe Bypass.

The Monroe Police officers advised Henderson of her Miranda rights, and she admitted stabbing her boyfriend in the head in self-defense, after he first hit her.

As the investigation showed that she didn’t bear any signs of injury, she was arrested and booked into Ouachita Correctional Center.

She was charged with Aggravated Battery and her bond is set at $10,000.
