LOUISIANA— A child was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene Sunday night, according to the Kenner Police Department.
The hit-and-run occurred around 6:35 p.m. in the 600 block of Vintage Drive.
The vehicle in the picture is believed to be the vehicle to have struck the child and fled the scene.
The vehicle is reported to be a newer model Jeep, white or silver in color with black rims.
The child is currently being treated at an area hospital for head injuries.
