LOUISIANA— Rain is finally decreasing and becoming more scattered on Wednesday, but a flash flood watch stays in effect through late Thursday night.
We’ll expect some scattered showers and a few possible downpours through Wednesday afternoon, although it will be overall improved over yesterday. Thursday will bring another round of scattered storms in the afternoon.
We could tack on 1-3 inches of rain between Wednesday and Thursday. This would be on top of 3-6+ inches we got on Tuesday. Street flooding could be an issue under any heavy downpours that form.
