LOUISIANA – The lottery luck that just seems to thrive in Louisiana is alive and well after last night’s Mega Millions drawing. The Jackpot for last night’s multi-state lottery game was listed at an estimated $122 million. However, there was no ticket sold that matched the necessary numbers to claim that cash, so the big money will roll over to the next drawing on Friday night. By the way, the estimated jackpot for that game will be $137 million.
But we are here to talk about winners in Louisiana. Last night’s Mega Millions game was very kind to Louisiana players. There was a single ticket sold in the state that matched four of the white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball. Based on the rules of the game, that ticket is worth $10,000.
But that’s not the only big winner in last night’s drawing. According to the Louisiana Lottery winners page, two other tickets sold in the state were worth $500. One of those tickets had the Mega-Plier option invoked so it’s actually a $1,000 winner. There were also two $400 winners and seven other tickets that are worth $200 bucks this morning.
Here are the numbers from the Tuesday, March 23, 2021 drawing: 12 23 35 38 55 MB 11 Mega-Plier x2
We do know that the $10,000 winner was sold at a Circle K Store on the West Bank Expressway in Marrero. Exactly where the other money winners were purchased, we don’t have that for you at this time.
If you still want to try your luck at the lottery you can play in tonight’s Powerball game. The drawing for that game is set for 9:59 pm Louisiana time. By rule, ticket sales must cease at least one hour before that drawing. The estimated jackpot for tonight’s Powerball is $220 million.
