MONROE, La. – The Monroe Salvation Army will be doing a cold-weather shelter ahead of upcoming winter weather.
The shelter will be at the Monroe Civic Convention Center on Jan. 10, 2020, starting at 5:00 p.m. The center is located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expy, Monroe, LA 71201.
The shelter will offer between 20 and 30 cots. They will also provide food and drinks during the cold-weather shelter.
The Salvation Army says all are welcome, and that social distancing and PPE requirements will be enforced
